On November 8, a delegation comprising Professor Luo Junhang, Yangtze River Scholar of the Ministry of Education, National Outstanding Youth Science Foundation recipient, Chief Physician of the Department of Urology at the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, and Vice Dean of the Institute of Precision Medicine; along with Associate Professor Yang Jiefeng from the Seventh Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, visited Shenzhen Cell Valley for exchange and discussion. Our Chairman, Professor Shi Yuanyuan, Chief Scientist Professor Wang Jianxun, Head of Marketing Sun Rui, and Director of the General Administration Office Wang Lu extended a warm welcome to the delegation.
Accompanied by Head of Marketing Sun Rui, the team toured the smart exhibition hall, gaining an initial understanding of the company's strategic development layout, corporate history, the development history and current status of cell therapy, service platform construction, and corporate vision. They also developed a deeper appreciation of Shenzhen Cell Valley's comprehensive, one-stop service process spanning from fundamental scientific research to clinical translation.
During the symposium, Head of Marketing Sun Rui provided a detailed introduction to the current status of cell therapy both domestically and internationally, the company's strategic layout, and its core technologies. Professor Wang noted that cell therapy has achieved remarkable success in improving patient survival rates and reducing the cancer burden. Leveraging its domestically leading GMP-grade industrial-scale production processes for retroviral vectors, the company has provided highquality and safe customized target-specific CAR cell preparation services to numerous well-known medical institutions both domestically and internationally. Dozens of patients with hematologic malignancies who had failed prior treatments and experienced relapse or drug resistance have achieved significant remission after receiving CAR-T cells prepared by the Cell Valley team. Additionally, the NK and CAR-NK cell therapy products recently launched by Cell Valley have been widely applied in clinical research for solid tumors such as liver cancer and pancreatic cancer, as well as autoimmune diseases. Shenzhen Cell Valley remains committed to its mission and values of "Cells benefit all, genes create the future," dedicated to addressing key constraints in cell therapy drugs/clinical treatment—including technology, cost, production capacity, and talent—and to opening more therapeutic pathways for patients.
Professor Luo Junhang from the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University noted that cell therapy is emerging as a new focal point in the development of the healthcare industry. The future model of clinical cell therapy will be full-cycle and comprehensive, and its widespread adoption and promotion will rely on the sustained technological development by research teams, as well as the translational application by high-level clinical diagnostic and therapeutic teams.
Both parties expressed their commitment to fully leveraging their respective technological resources, core teams, and platform advantages, and to jointly contributing to the advancement of scientific research and clinical application of cell therapy in urology-related tumors.
