First, Professor Shi Yuanyuan and Professor Wang Jianxun extended a warm welcome to the nephrology experts from Guangzhou Women and Children's Medical Center. Subsequently, the two sides engaged in discussions on recent corporate R&D progress, cell therapy technologies, viral vector applications, and project implementation plans such as the joint establishment of a cell preparation quality control center. Professor Shi Yuanyuan and Professor Wang Jianxun provided a detailed introduction to Shenzhen Cell Valley's core advantages and its use of domestically leading GMP-grade industrial-scale production processes for retroviral vectors, offering highquality and safe customized target-specific CAR cell preparation services to numerous top-tier tertiary hospitals, and jointly advancing clinical research and application development in cell therapy.

Professor Gao Xia noted that the Nephrology Department of the Women and Children's Medical Center was established in 1980. Under the guidance and development of multiple experts and scholars over the years, it has been dedicated to research and clinical diagnosis and treatment of pediatric kidney diseases. As the strongest pediatric nephrology specialty in South China, the department was honored as the "Strongest Kidney Specialty in Guangdong Province" in 2022, and was approved as the Guangdong Provincial Pediatric Restricted Technology Training Base for Continuous Blood Purification in Children in 2023. The management of severe kidney diseases is a key feature of the specialty.

Through this visit and exchange, both parties expressed their commitment to jointly advancing the scientific research and clinical application of cell therapy in pediatric kidney diseases and related areas.
